The bootcamp offers you the opportunity to take part in fresh & exciting classes. It gives you a chance to develop and broaden your dance skills through a wide range of exercises with a focus on improving: body movement, styling, isolations, free style and musicality. The content of the bootcamp will help you get back into the Deakocan groove after the summer break, it will focus on contra-tiempo deakocan style, with the elements of rumba & afrocuban, and the musical interpretation.

12:30-14:25 Casino contra-tiempo SonCha Casino contra-tiempo - Son , Chachacha: the timing, the rhythm, body movement and funky moves. Fusion of Son & Chachacha. Musical interpretation and elements of men & ladies styling.

AfroSonCha
In this part of the workshop we will focus on:
contra-tiempo deakocan style, with the elements of rumba & afrocuban movements, as well as the musical interpretation. Spice up your style with the elements of Rumba & AfroCuban to enrich your styling with the various forms of movements. We will incorporate the learned in the first part of the workshop moves and apply them in AfroSonCha style.

 

 

 

Workshop location: The O2 Centre Finchley Road, it is right next to Finchley Road tube station, on the A41 Finchley Road, the postcode- NW3 6LU. This beautiful studio is located on the first floor of the centre, we are so happy to finally have the workshop in this location it`s stunning, the mirrors on the room`s full length & gorgeous big space. It usually used by a many famous TV programs like Strictly Come Dancing, Britain`s got talent etc.

 

Nearest Underground Stations: Finchley Road, Jubilee & Metropolitan lines.

Deakocan Picnic with Percussion Jam
 Lively & spontaneous music session, learn more about contra-tiempo, son & chachacha, with a strong focus on clave, how to interact with instruments & reflect them in the way you dance concentrating on clave not counting. This session will consist of the Percussion Jam with Deakocan Picnic in the park. Lots of fun and music. Sunday afternoon in Deakocan style :)

 

 

Workshop location: Hyde Park , Lancaster Gate.

The deposit of £20 need to be paid by 25 August to secure your space.
